I am happy to share with you my contribution to "Project Black", a project at Fishlabs that unfortunately was canceled. Together with an experienced, talented and passionate team, we poured our heart into this and I hope you will like it!

I joint the team as a senior 3d environment artist few month into concept phase and was involved in finding solutions for the realization of the desired art style and worked on establishing workflows for the creation of vegetation and organic elements.

Vegetation played a major role in the project, especially the somewhat different plants had the purpose of artistically convey the alien nature of the jungle forest to the player. The large alien plants could function well as landmarks for the specific level areas.
And with the creation of this one I had the responsibility to establish a mask-based texturing workflow.
The idea was to create a benchmark asset for the production phase.

Needless to say, it was a team effort and I'm really proud of what we achieved together.
Sadly, we won't get the chance to make a real game out of it.
